ROOTS EXPLOSION SOUNDSYSTEM
Roots Explosion is a soundsystem crew from Bruges, Belgium that was founded in 2016. The crew consists of five core members and some people behind the scenes who are connected through their love for reggae music. With DT providing selection whilst also hosting on the microphone, Utah Militant at the controls and Puppa Rascal being well versatile, Roots Explosion is playing roots and culture music, dubplates and homemade productions for the reggae masses, with the emphasis on playing their soundsystem like their predecessors used to do in the golden days of reggae music, when rub-a-dub riddims reigned the dance hall.

TONTO ADDI (GER – Upfull Posse)
Official deejay from parisian crew Upfull Posse, Addi has been singing in french Capital dancehalls since 2007. With a style influenced by Jamaican 80’s early dancehall, he develops lyrics with versatile themes, such as story-telling, clash lyrics or reality, often with a touch of humor. Based in Berlin since 2013, his 1st project Dancehall Showcase has been released in 2014, completely produced by spanish producer Raggattack. After a couple of digital singles for labels such as Fat Bird Recordings or GuerillJah Prod, his first 7” vinyl single is released at the end of 2016. The song Operation Evacuation, was produced in collab with Hotta Henne on the label they both founded : Hotta Riddims, and has been sold out in 3 months. Four other 7” singles followed in 2017 and 2018, on Romanian Dancehall Tradition, Berlin’s own GuerrillJah and Hotta Riddims again plus a 12” with Midnight Resistance. In 2019, his new album Dancehall Freak was released on Hotta Riddims, entirely produced by Hotta Henne. Addi is regularly touring in whole Europe, played in festivals like Dub Camp, No Logo, Fusion and so far shared the stage with the like of Mungo’s Hifi, Jahtari, Mr Williamz, Solo Banton, Charlie P, Trevor Junior and many others.
